With such a wide variety of styles, rhythms, and cultural diversity of each praise team member, music at Oasis is anything but ordinary and predictable. In fact, the only expectation you can count on is that whatever music, drama, media, or dance is presented, it will always glorify and honor our God and Savior, Jesus.
Throughout the Word of God, music has always played a very important role in the worship of our God. Music was used in praise, for prophecy and the prophetic, for healing, for celebration and ceremony, and for encouragement of the church body. Music will always be a foundational ministry at Oasis.
To be on the Worship ArtsTeam:
- You must be a member, or in the process of becoming a member, of the Oasis Church
- Available to attend all scheduled rehearsals and services as determined by the Worship Arts Ministers
- Have a heart to serve God's people and let God's love show through you as you offer your best praise to our Lord
Currently, the choir & band meet on Thursday evenings, 7:30PM at Oasis. This great group of dedicated people know how to work hard and have fun doing it--and there is always room for one more!
If you are interested in Media and Sound there are training sessions available for each upon request. Drama and Dance also play an important part in our celebrations services and outreach ministries. Worship Arts Ministers Carlos & Jo-Anna Salomon-Cruz are available to answer any questions you might have in these service areas.
