You don't have to travel to Africa or Mexico to serve in a "missionary" capacity. The first mission is always the home mission. Every time you pick up a broom, teach Sunday school, pass out programs, send a card, or give a great big hug, you are on a mission. You are being the hands and feet of the gospel by building up the Kingdom of our God.

Ushers, Greeters, Altar Work
Greet, direct, escort, and provide information to the members and guests at each worship service and at Oasis-sponsored event. Responsible for keeping order and assisting during services. Assist with offering, communion, baptisms, or as directed by Pastor Calvin.

Manages the ministry of pastor Bill Winston through product sales and local speaking engagements.

Facility Maintenance Ministry
Responsible for the maintenance of all Oasis buildings and property, as well as set up for all events.

Music, Sound & Worship Arts Ministry
Musicians, Singers, and Technicians share their talents at all Oasis church services and events, internally and through outreach in the community.

Media Ministry
Responsible for website maintenance. Operation of cameras, projector. Input of content and praise service and bible software. Works in conjunction with the sound ministry to produce CD and DVD masters for distribution.

Warm & Fuzzy Ministry
This ministry acknowledges birthdays and important celebrations of Oasis members. Meets the spiritual, and some practical needs of members who are sick, have experienced the loss of a loved one, or just in need of a little help and encouragement.

Evangelism
Outreach to the lost in surrounding communities, ministering of the gospel, provide information and meet some of the practical needs to non-oasis members.

Assist in age-appropriate biblical instruction activities in creative and innovative ways for youth ages 12-21 years-old.

Dance Ministry of skilled and anointed individuals minister periodically during worship services and special activities at The Oasis.
Food Ministry responsible for the distribution of food and personal items to those in need.

Marriage Ministry designed to impart the value of godly principles to govern marriage relationships.
Prison Ministry to minister to the needs of the incarcerated, ex-offenders, and provides support to their families.
Singles Ministry to educate, and guide unmarried Christians in the development and enhancement of their Christian lifestyle and personal relationship with God.
Recording Ministry responsible for the editing and duplication of all audio and DVD product produced by The Oasis.
Recreation Ministry develops coordinates, and hosts all sporting and exercise events for The Oasis.
Plant Ministry is responsible for the maintenance and continual upkeep of the plants and flowers in the sanctuary and offices.
Parenting Ministry to collaborate with parents in the development of our children from conception thru adulthood. Sowing godly instruction and concepts, expecting to reap kingdom results. |
