In today's society there are so many things telling you that you are not pretty enough, smart enough, tall enough, strong enough, that you need to change who you are to be accepted--that is not the word of GOD. We encourage and teach teens God's value system that says in Psalms 139 that you are fearfully and wonderfully made just the way you are. We help you learn how to build your self-esteem, self determination, and confidence in God.
The vision for EPICENTER Oasis Youth Church
Our vision is to have a variety of exciting activities and programs that help teens maximize their God-given gifts and talents. To help them learn to impact other people’s lives, just as JESUS has done and still does today. The following are the current youth programs offered by EPICENTER:
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE @ THE OASIS
Every 1st and 3rd Saturday SNL@ the Oasis has the goal of focusing this generation on Christ. If you are between the ages 12-21+, you will find this event created to stir your desire for a deeper relationship with Christ. We provide opportunities for teenagers to minister through their personal gifts of leadership, drama, music, dance, etc. Find out what this JESUS stuff is all about. Who was JESUS? Why do so many people want to be like him? Why is JESUS relevant in my life today? Why should I even care? What does it mean when someone says JESUS loves me?
AFTERSHOCK: Word Study
Young people have many questions. The Word of God has ALL the answers! AFTERSHOCK is a faith-building and knowledge expanding bible study for Junior HIgh, High School, and Young Adults. These study groups focus on biblical themes and principles for life-changing effect. Join us every 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month for an enlightening time of learning and peer dialogue as we come together to discover The Answer in His Word!
