The Oasis was established by God 20 years ago, led by Pastors Mike and Lisa Connaway, founders and acknowledged life "coaches." By faith they were able to accomplish remarkable triumphs in the Gospel of Jesus Christ through great leadership in Seattle and surrounding communities. The Lord's hands rest on the Connaways and their continued work in the ministry. We have a heart full of gratitude for the great sacrifices and faithful service that they gave to Oasis through the years and believe God for greater blessings in their lives.
On November 2nd 2008, the Oasis began a new chapter in its continuing journey when Derron and Lyn-Felice Calvin were called to pastor this wonderful group of people who loved the Lord with all their hearts. The people of the Oasis welcomed their new Pastors and quickly embraced the direction and vision Pastor Derron received from God for Oasis Seattle Church.
In July of 2009 through God’s grace, the Oasis transitioned out of a movie theater and into a church building in the Renton area. This small beginning was confirmation of a “new thing” that God promised to do at Oasis. We continue to look toward increased opportunities to love and serve this community as God continues to move us triumphantly, from glory to glory into His kingdom purposes.
We look forward to experiencing new adventures, new relationships to enjoy, new buildings and lands, new anointings to walk in and most importantly, you – becoming a part of our Oasis family.
