Pastor Derron Calvin
In November of 2009 Derron & Lyn-Felice Calvin accepted a call of the Lord and accepted the opportunity to Pastor Oasis Seattle Church in Renton, Washington.
Pastor Derron is no stranger to serving faithfully in the house of God. At the early age of 10 Derron accepted the call to preach the Word of God which would eventually lead him to the pastoral ministry that he has operated in these last 10 years. He received "on the job training" at different churches across the US of which landed him in the NW as the Executive Pastor of All Nations Christian Center located then, in Everett, WA. Pastor Derron preaches and teaches the Word in an understanding manner that is easy to apply to one’s life. Derron's ministry stems out of his faith in the Kingdom system of God's Word, with his straightforward message being applied successfully, in the secular world we must live in.
As a C and D student in his early years of high school, Derron applied the system of God's word to his life and saw amazing results. Upon seeing such results, his belief in God's word was reinforced as he applied the Word to every area of his life. He graduated with honors from Adams State College in 1994. He graduated and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Washington in 1997. In 1998, he graduated from New York University with a Master's Degree in Taxation, LL.M Tax. He has been practicing tax, estate, business, and financial planning law for the past twelve years in the NW area. He owns and operates two tax and legal firms in Rainier Beach and White Center. He also has his Series 6, 7, and 66 securities licenses, along with a Life Insurance license to aid in wealth management.
Today Derron continues to practice successfully, while fulfilling the desire in his heart to reach souls and families for the Kingdom of God, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is a living, breathing testimony that the Word of God is true! With God all things are possible, and absolutely nothing is too difficult for Him. Pastor Derron resides in Renton, Washington with his lovely wife Lyn-Felice, daughter Jessica, and son, Caleb.
